Join a Death Talk hosted by Death Priestess, Kristy Sue, in a unique neighborhood restaurant housed in a beautifully repurposed old church. This free, community led discussion provides a welcoming space to explore any topic related to death. Open to all, it’s an opportunity to connect, share, and seek support in a vibrant community hub known for its rich calendar of events.
The Death Talk takes place every third Tuesday of the month from 6:00-7:00pm at The Congregation Detroit

Join us for a Death Cafe hosted by two death doulas at Drifter, a cozy and trendy community focused coffee shop. This free, open-to-all event fosters group led discussions about any aspect of death in a supportive, nonjudgmental space. Come connect, share, and explore the topic of death with others in the community.
The Death Cafe takes place every first Wednesday of the month from 4-5pm at Drifter Coffee in Ferndale
